After a month of acclimatising myself to my new 3D software and a couple of entries to my scraps folder, I've finally produced something that I'm happy with sharing as a full-blown deviation. This is just something I doodled up to test the capabilities of the dielectric glass shader, but I was so happy with it I thought I'd share. Everything is rendered except the light black border which was added using Corel PhotoPaint 10.
Program: Lightwave 9.2
Render Time: 1 hour 45 minutes
Effects Used: Dielectric glass rendering, cloth effects on the tablecloth, volumetric textured lighting
